The BBB seeks to create a community of trustworthy businesses, setting standards for marketplace trust, encouraging and supporting best practices, celebrating markeplace role models and denouncing substandard marketplace behavior.
The Better Business Bureau has established an annual awards program to promote and celebrate public recognition of for-profit businesses that are positive examples who maintain a solid commitment to conducting their business practices in an ethical fashion.
WHO DO YOU TRUST?
We want to know about those companies that have earned your trust. Individuals and employees are encourage to make nominations for this prestigious recognition in accordance to the criteria for the award. ELIGIBILITY & RULES
The Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics is open to all for-profit businesses that serve retail and wholesale markets in Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Eastland, Fisher, Jones, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens and Taylor counties. Click here for contest rules.
CATEGORIES & CRITERIA
The Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics will be awarded to a company with 1 to 10 employees, 11 to 99 and 100+ employee. Click here for criteria.
Candidates for the Torch Award will be evaluated by an independent prestigious panel of judges from the Business and Academic Community.
