After originally taking my vehicle in for transmission work, I have continuously had to take my vehicle back in for the same issues. The mechanic refuses to take responsibility and is blaming the problems on other unrelated parts of the vehicle. He has tied up my vehicle for several months and has begun to avoid any form of communication and isn't willing to find a way to compromise. The first time I took my vehicle in, I requested a transmission rebuild. He had it for 2 weeks. The same day I picked it up, it dumped the transmission fluid. He then kept it an additional week, stating it was the torque convertor that was unbalanced which caused it to dump fluid. After driving the vehicle for a couple weeks, I noticed the clutches sticking which caused the vehicle to stall out at stop signs/red lights. I took it back to him and after 2 more weeks he claimed to have fixed the issue. I was pulling a camper when the vehicle dumped transmission fluid again. The mechanic is now stating that one of his workers found a hairline fracture in the transmission, but they still put the vehicle back together anyways and that my current issue is unrelated to the transmission rebuild. He said my truck would be ready within 2 weeks, it has now been 3 weeks with no communication.
