Better Business Bureau® Institute for Marketplace Trust will introduce the BBB Center for Nonprofit Excellence on May 29 at Larimer County United Way’s Technical Assistance Partnership Symposium in Loveland.
The BBB Center for Nonprofit Excellence joins the BBB Center for Fraud Prevention and the BBB Center for Character Ethics as the BBB Institute’s three centers of excellence.
“Expanding our charity review reports will help donors make informed choices about charities located in our service territory,” said Carrie Rossman, director of the BBB Institute. BBB serves 38 counties in Northern Colorado and Wyoming.
BBB evaluates charities against a comprehensive set of standards developed by the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, including governance and oversight, effectiveness, finances and financial management, fundraising and communications.
