JOB IDENTIFICATION:

Title:  Dispute Resolution and Advertising Review Counselor
Department: Operations
Supervisor: VP/Dispute Resolution and Operations

SUMMARY: BBB is looking for a motivated and results-oriented person to join our operations team. This position will be responsible for interacting with consumers and businesses to help in resolving marketplace disputes along with coordinating the advertising review program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Handling and facilitating conflicts between consumers and businesses to bring about a resolution

  • Coordinating and managing the advertising review program

  • Assisting in reviewing and vetting new accredited business applications to ensure companies meet BBB’s Code of Business Practices

  • Running reports as required to maintain data quality

  • Researching information through the Internet and other mediums

  • Coordinating/supporting special projects as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communication, organizational and strategic-thinking skills, including the ability to understand and articulate key business issues

  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

  • Ability to navigate multiple databases

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills

  • Promotes and adapts to change as needed

  • Willingness to be a self-starter and take initiative on projects

  • Highly proficient in Google Applications and MS Office Applications

  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and outside stakeholders

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of communications/business experience, preferably in customer service and/or conflict management

Business Development Consultant

Job Summary:
Better Business Bureau® Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming is looking for a motivated individual to join our business development team. This position will be responsible for determining the eligibility of and extend invitations for BBB accreditation to those companies who meet BBB standards for acceptance. Success in the position requires a results driven mentality with significant time on the phone. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position - weekends and evenings are not required.

Job requirements include:

  • Adhere to all organization presentation guidelines and policies
  • Deliver presentations in a pleasant, professional and confident manner
  • Must accomplish targeted performance objectives on a consistent basis
  • Must possess general computer knowledge and ability to learn and adapt to internal databases
