Complaint: I have multiple complaints They NEVER returned phone calls. I called multiple times to 3 different phone numbers and left messages (office and to two direct lines). They showed up to my house unannounced multiple times and when no one was home they jumped my fence. We agreed on not painting 2 sides of the house and just doing touch ups. The touch up paint didn't match at all. After calling multiple times and leaving multiple messages I was finally able to talk to a person. We agreed on painting both sides of the house to cover up the touch up spots. They missed parts of my house. I still have one area that is "polka dotted" from the touch up paint job. Also my house is gray and now the 2 sides that were painted are tan. I got my roof replaced because of hail damage. I didn't have any leaks before my roof was replaced. After it was replaced I had 2. They did come back and fix those. When they were installing the roof they killed my tomato plant. My plant was in a pot and could of been moved very easily. When I asked about it I was told they didn't do it. When they came to take off the gutters they dropped one on to my plants and flattened them. Also when confronted they said they didn't do that either. They told me they pick up after them selves. For the most part they did except I found a huge gutter nail in my back yard on the sidewalk, glass in my rocks from when they replaced the windows and they decided to use my hose and didn't put it back the way they found it. I was promised by *** ******** that he would be onsite for all of the work and he only showed up for one job. I got a bill in the mail saying it was over due and if I don't pay it with in 15 days I will be charged an extra 2%. I was told the rest of the money was due when the job was done. I also want to know how the bill is late when it is the first one I have received. Storm hit my house in the beginning of August. I contacted them in the middle of Aug. It is almost December and the work is not done yet.
Desired Settlement: I want the paint to match the rest of my house and for the "polka dots" to be removed. I would also like some type of compensation for my tomato plant and other plants that were flattened.
Business Response: I take great offense to this complaint, first off the "tomato" plant was a stick" she tried to blame my gutter crew, my roofing crew, then myself for damaging this stick, she never produced it, and even though I never actually saw this stick I offered her $100.00 several times, I offered to go buy and replace it, she refused , saying she had an emotional attachment to it, and I couldn't buy that back? her Insurance paid to paint one side of her house and to touch up another side, I paid out of my pocket to fully paint both sides of the house actually going in the hole on this job, we had the paint perfectly matched to the existing on house at Sherwin/Williams Paint of Greeley.she still owes a past due balance of $5249.10, which like a lot of people we are running into seems to have spent the Insurance money and now are trying to find a way not to pay. She cries everytime she calls, and frankly do not understand where the complaints are coming from, we would gladly do whatever it takes to remedy this complaint, but, can't in reality find any merit for anything she saying. one of her complaints was not giving her enough notice when our crews were showing up to do work, which in reality can't always be done, her saying it upsets her boyfriend, mother and husband? all of which seem to be living there. just suggest a way to understand this girls complaint and we will gladly do our best to take care of it. We take great Pride in all of our jobs, and our track record speaks for itself, we have done over 500 jobs this past year without any other Homeowners complaining. That record should speak for itself.
