            My HOA hired Ross to repair the common area fence in my back yard. This fence is approximately 20 years old so the nails came loose causing it to bend out a little and some of the dirt came lose with my dog running the fence line. Here were my issues with Ross (************ ***** *** ********* ***): 1) Russ called me to let me know he was doing the repair at 8 AM and needed someone to be there to let him in the back yard. I stayed home from work and waited until 10 AM but Ross never showed nor did he call or answer his phone. I asked my wife to stay home a little later from her job and Ross never knocked on the door to let us know he was here. She observed him pull up up back around 10:45 AM. 2) Later that day, I get a call from my HOA treating me like a criminal who caused fence damage. The HOA advised that Ross told them my dog chewed the drip line causing a water leak. Here is the problem with this. First, my drip line, unfortunately, was never hooked up to a water source. I laid the drip line in the rock bed and planned to someday hook it up to the spigot on a timer but never did; second, my sprinkler was still off from the winter, so the water was not even on. It had rained in our area the last week, so the ground was still moist. My sprinkler company was coming the next day to turn everything on and do their annual service; finally, Ross never asked me if I had a water leak or if the drip line caused water damage. He arrogantly assumed there had been a water leak and reported that to the HOA. And of course, the HOA did not believe me. A professional would have asked the homeowner before reporting that to the HOA as factual. 3) I called Ross to politely explain the situation and ask him to please call the HOA and let them know he misspoke. I ended up having to call several times and left 2 messages over the course of 2 days because he was not returning my call. I ended up missing a call from him and had to call him back several more times before he answered. When he answered, he angrily shouted, "DIDN'T YOU GET MY VOICEMAIL? I'M BOOKED FOR THE SUMMER!" I explained I am not seeking his services and reminded him who I am and the work he did at my house. Long story short, Ross was extremely rude to me, belittled me, yelled at me, and refused to inform the HOA that he misspoke. It was the most unbelievable experience I have ever had with someone operating a business. Now, my HOA assuredly has it in my file that I had water damage and refuses to believe me based on what Ross told them. Ross ended up hanging up on me maintaining that he would not call the HOA to make it right. Predicated on my experience, Ross is unprofessional, and has no integrity. It's amazing how much damage someone can do because they are arrogant and refuse to listen and try to make things right. Thanks for everything, Ross!

            I have never met you, you are not my customer, my client is your HOA management company, I was asked to put a fence back up because of a problematic dog, our company scheduled the repair with you to gain access to your home, you claimed the fence was pushed several feet from your home by rain, we found an open sprinkler line that has clearly been allowed to run possibly last season, parts of the sprinkler line appeared to be strewn around the lawn and appeared to have been chewed apart. The open line washed piles of dirt up against your fence and pushed it over. You called my company and aggressively demanded that I call the management company and change my findings so you didn’t have to be accountable. I hope you resolve your issues with your HOA but you are not my customer and I have never done any business with you. Every once in a while we encounter someone like yourself, photographic evidence does not lie, we do appreciate feedback as it helps us to continually improve our service but looking inward is probably the best option in this case as I was only at your home to complete a fence repair that had been open for some considerable time.
