Also had disturbing, disappointing experience with Serv Pro Fort Collins. Met initially with their Rep. to show him work needed- as project was progressive, multi work request- on a large scope. Rep asked six different times if Serv Pro was able to do the work as first phase was tedious, complex, and large scale. Was assured that they could. * Owner was injured by drunk driver- unable to finish work they {homeowner} had started. Spoke to co- owner four times prior to work, administrative assistant six times- each time emphasizing work scope, removed added, unrequested work from work order. * Later found out that their Rep. quit this agency. Serv Pro dumped belongings in a heap, broke items, turned on and left on a project light- blocking access to same in order to turn off. * This writer photographed evidence- & caught the female work supervisor photographing without permission- when confronted. Twice called back- no change except to join homeowner in clearing path Knocked brand new, designer sofa off dolly, attempted to change terms of contract, refused to issue refund, refused to provide completed work order, refused to respond to calls for clarification, owner called a $10K sofa junk and new, expensive items "junk", one worker overheard calling homeowner "retard", cashed one check before work started, cashed second check immediately after writer complaint! Thousands of dollars charged "per insurance rate billing". Writer believes this agency engaged in gender bias, ageism, and disability discrimination. * Note: Co- owner emphasizes military history; while marketing business. In short, if Serv Pro felt they could not do the work- they should have turned down the job- vs making homeowner responsible for their ineptitude. They also could have told homeowner that the job was too hard to complete vs leaving job site while homeowner left on business call! Disturbing that insurance carriers refer this agency to homeowners!
