    I recently acquired a pre-owned vehicle from Fowler Kia of Windsor, with assurances that a previously addressed brake issue had been resolved, and new brake pads were installed, as indicated in the car's history report. However, upon driving the vehicle, I immediately noticed persistent squeaking from the brakes. Concerned, I contacted the dealership for an inspection, expecting the matter to be covered under the assumption that it was a known issue from before my purchase and persisting thereafter. To my surprise, I was presented with a $400 bill for new rotors, and the attached written quote showed that "immediate attention" was required due to a failure in the front brakes during the inspection. Upon discussing the matter with the service manager, who also happened to be the former owner of the car I bought, as well as the sales manager, the bill was reduced to $186, still charging me for the cost of parts. However, I find this resolution unsatisfactory, as worn rotors pose a significant safety risk, contrary to the assertion that I was told that the issue was "cosmetic". It is troubling that these worn components passed a safety inspection conducted less than three weeks prior. I wouldn't want anyone else to purchase an unsafe car because the dealership isn't updating cars to the best of their ability before resale. Given that I was sold a vehicle with known safety concerns, and subsequently faced resistance in addressing the problem, I respectfully request reimbursement for the expenses incurred.

    I bought my car in 2022 and I had it for one year and the engine seized due to company manufacturing. The service center had my car for 4 months replacing the engine. As soon as I got my car back, 2 days later the car broke down with the same symptoms it had when they first took it to repair it. No communication was given during the entire 4 months they had my car, we had to call every month just to check the status of my vehicle. They requested the rental they gave was was to be returned because they did not want to pay for it anymore. Overall, they didnt fix my car for the 4 months they had it, communication was horrible, and the companys materials are faulty.
