BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating Overview
BBB Customer Reviews Rating represents the customers opinions of the business. The Customer Review Rating is based on the number of positive, neutral and negative customer reviews posted that are calculated to produce a score.
|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|
|Neutral Review||3 points per review|
|Negative Review||1 point per review|
BBB letter grades represent the BBB's opinion of the business. The BBB grade is based on BBB file information about the business. In some cases, a business' grade may be lowered if the BBB does not have sufficient information about the business despite BBB requests for that information from the business.
BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.

Complaint: I had the oil changed on my car 4/22/15 with Casters Garage. There was only 620 miles on the oil change. When on June 25th there was a puddle of oil on the floor of my garage when I moved my car. I called Eric, he told me not to drive my car, he had two cars in the garage and when he was finished with them he would come to my house to look at the car. He told me he should be there by 2 o'clock, he never showed up. I called him again at 3:30 and asked him if he thought it would be ok for me to bring the car to him. " He said it would". I then took the car to the garage, he tightened the plug and I left. Eric told me he had found only one drop of oil. The next morning Friday June 26th I checked the car and it was still leaking oil. I then called Eric again to let him know that the car was still leaking. Eric told me he was moving and was not going to be opening the garage. At that time I made an appointment for 10 o'clock Monday morning. On Monday June 29th around 8 am Eric called me to let me know that he was in ********* *******. "His mother was in the hospital" and he would be back in Ft. Collins around 2 o'clock, and he would call me then...again he did not contact me. At that point it was apparent to me Eric was not going to fix the leak. I found another mechanic made an appointment with him for July 7th. Steve found that the threads in the oil pan were stripped and the leak was the oil drain plug. He tapped new threads for an over sized drain plug. If this happens again the oil pan will have to be replaced. Eric does not stand behind his work. I gave him every opportunity to contact me and that never happened. I was without my car for a total of 9 days.
Desired Settlement: Because Eric is the one that changed the oil and stripped out plug, I believe he should pay for the damage on my car.
