The store is tiny and dirty. The clerks are hostile and incompetent. Sent me home with the wrong brackets for a shade, and shades are their business! Didnt apologize when I had to return for the correct brackets. Informed me that solid roller shades are no longer made with spring tension, even though every other shade supplier lists having them. They sold me a piece of **** solid roller shade with an inner mechanism of invisible beads that must fit in an invisible slot inside the shade. Impossible to see and install correctly. This shade just lost tension so Ill have to call them and pay home visit to fix the tension again. Instead Im going to remove shade somehow , even if I break end piece with screwdriver to remove it, and take to a better shade shop to change to a spring tension roller for me. Dont shop here!

Hi ****,Sorry to hear you feel this way. Let me try to address all of your legitimate issues. From what I can tell this order was placed for a spring boucle roller shade 81-5/8" wide which is what we sold you. As for the style of spring roller you got, that was the only style that was available at the time of your purchase back in 2020. Our supplier for the type of spring roller that you were looking for stopped producing the rollers and we didn't have a supplier for the spring rollers. I believe what you received was the metal ***** spring roller shade which is a good quality roller but does have different brackets than your old fashioned spring rollers. We have since that time found a new supplier for these spring rollers and would be happy to change it out for you at no cost. As for adding tension onto the roller shade, this is something you can bring into our store to have us do at no cost, or you can actually do this yourself at home. What you would need to do, if you wanted to do this at home, would be to roll the shade all the way down, then remove it from the bracket. (This can be done by using a flat blade s**** driver and putting between the spring end of the shade and the bracket. Once in between just push the s**** driver towards the shade itself and this should release the spring end and the shade should come out.) The spring end is a pressure fit. Then roll up the shade by hand. You may need to do this same step several times to achieve the tension you desire. If you don't want to add the tension, but want to switch to the standard style spring roller, just bring the shade in and we can switch that out at no cost.
