We needed to replace our roof and decided to go with C&K. They were fairly priced, didn't over sell us and gave us the best quality workmanship for our investment. The warranty is also excellent. Ryan and his staff are professional and they cleaned up our home meticulously afterwards. Ryan is also very prompt in replying to any questions you may have along the way. Setting up the initial consultation with Ryan was easy also. Cindy in the office found a date and we met very shortly thereafter. C&K takes care of their customers like family. So happy with everything.

C & K installed the roof, gutters and soffits 7 years ago. Water is now running down the walls on the inside of my house. I contacted C&K. A rep came out and looked in the attic and said that my roof is leaking and someone would get back with me. That was 3 weeks ago and no one has called. I have a 25 year warranty but that does not seem to matter. C&K refuses to fix their own work. NO ONE SHOULD EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

I have never met or communicated with Laura. I met with who I am assuming is her son, who must have relayed what I said to her. Upon arriving at the appointment on the morning of 2/3/2022, I looked in the attic and saw excessive frost on the roof boards and asked him if the "leaks" occurred on the warm day just prior to his phone call. He said they did, and I explained to him that it most likely melted all the frost in the attic. He flat out refused to believe this and told me we are looking at a complete tear off because the roof is leaking everywhere. I then asked if he had experienced any leaks during the rain in the summer or at any point in the winter up to the day of his call, and he said no. I mentioned how while it’s not uncommon for a roof to develop a leak, it is almost unheard of for the entire roof to suddenly leak everywhere. I pointed out how he has proper exhaust ventilation and adequate insulation but is severely lacking intake ventilation. Intake ventilation is required for the exhaust vent to draw air fresh air in at the lower part of the attic and expel the moisture laden air out the exhaust vent system. I only saw one intake baffle in the attic area I checked and about half of the attic was visible from there. Adequate intake would have about 20 ventilation baffles in this area. What's compounding the problem is the fact that his attic access pulldown stairs hatch (in an interior hallway) is not sealed and is most likely acting as an intake for the ridge vent, drawing moisture laden air into the attic that is frosting on the cold roof boards. I let him know that I would see what could be done but most likely, we wouldn't be able to do anything until warmer temps. He said he gets that. My thoughts are that with the temps again above freezing (approaching 50 degrees on the day of her BBB complaint) it has melted the frost and is "leaking" again.I have never met or communicated with Laura. While the employees were nice, the quality of the work and/or the installation is subpar. Since the installation of our windows 5 months ago, C & K has had to come out four times; twice because our windows leaked so badly there were streams of water coming in the molding ruining our drapes, the drywall and the brand new window sills they installed.C & K Services, Inc. of Newburg Response

In early January of this year, C&K Services responded to a window leak. We discovered that there was an excessive ice dam that was causing a leak to back up into the overhang at the top of the window. We cleaned up the ice issues and recaulked the top of the window. The problem was resolved, no charges were issued, she even had a small hole in her screen that was repaired as well. Then we were informed that a lower window was leaking after a very heavy rain. I contacted the homeowner and set up an appointment to stop and look at the issue. I discussed with her that we want to remove a piece of trim board above the window to see if it possibly had been damaged while it was installed. We will then reflash and seal the top of the window and reinstall the trim. The homeowner agreed to this, so we set it up to do this the week of May 17, 2021.
