I applied for an apartment with BG & got approved. I was sent an email by ************************* & then I went to go see the apartment with the property manager ****. I waited about 2 weeks to put a deposit on the apartment for unit 6 & I texted **** to let her know that and she texted me back saying ok. That day I spoke to someone at the ************* stated that they had received my deposit & the apartment was mine. Then about an hour or 2 later **** texts me & says the apartment was taken by someone else although it had been listed for 2 weeks after I had applied then all of a sudden when I put down a deposit they email me to tell me its been rented. I then let a few days go by so that I can see if any other properties on their website come up & I see the property that they said has already been rented to someone else back on the website. So I used a different phone to text **** to ask to set up an appointment to see ******** set up an appointment with me. When I called the office to ask whats going on they said theres a glitch in the system & that the unit has been rented. There is no glitch because all the other apartments when they get listed & taken never reappear. Mind you I texted **** from my original phone number as well to see what she would say & she never bothered responding to explain what happened. I think theres something else going on & I want to know what it is. When I call private & pretend to be someone else the unit is suddenly available but when I call or text as me I get the run around. Im not buying it. Either its discrimination or theres some girl/ jealousy personal issues conflicting with my application.
