I went in to purchase 2 female guinea pigs. I had the employee verify they were both female in front of me. I didn't know how to do it myself. I mistakenly put my trust in staff. They were 60 each. She guaranteed they were definitely female. A few days later I noticed their behavior wasn't like what I read about so I educated myself and discovered they are both male, and obviously so. I call the store and the manager said they would exchange them for females if they had any but since they have none I am stuck with them. So I'm told the whole large inventory is male only and this is a known fact yet I'm sold two and told they are female. Not only that but the employee told me a multi level ferret cage would work. I later discovered it's a terrible idea and I basically wasted $120 on that because I ended buying a much larger suitable cage for pretty much the same price. I want the public to know this store is terrible. There is absolutely no education on animals given to employees and no apologies given. Don't buy from this place if you require customer service. I honestly knew better buying from a pet store but I let instant gratification of making my child happy get the best of me. Never again.
