What I think, is I feel my Insurance company Ametican Family Insurance is ******** me over. Back in February, I received a past due notice of 787 owed. Which I was fine with. Then they sent a cancelation notice before I could send the 787. The cancelation notice was for 1050. Way more then the past due amount. They claimed it was for an amount I under paid back in 2023. I had to take a loan out to pay it, so I could keep my insurance. Now this month I received my bill late. The total amount due on my bill was 537. Again before I could pay it they sent me a cancelation notice for 808.00. I feel I'm being ******* over here. I'd like them to explain this one.

I got a life policy from the brother of a friend when I was 52. I contacted the life policy **** to advise of my name change. It is a 100k death benefit policy which matures when I'm 95. I asked what happens to the 100K if I outlive the policy. It just ends. There will be zero payout. ******* said the monthly payments I was making went to managing the policy, therefore the policy was underfunded.. For 21 years they billed $105. And that's what I paid. I canceled it today and will only get 1k. THEY CHEATED ME FOR 21 YEARS. I AM FURIOUS ?? ??

Wen it comes to the point your on your own you have to be uour own insurance agent and call the outher insurance to get things going . They not there for you it's all a boud the money,

When I had an unexpected life event, it was necessary for me to cancel my whole life policies and collect the surrender values. Upon contacting my agent, I was told that specific forms would need to be mailed to me and returned. It was 11 days before the forms arrived. However, the forms were simply blank copies of a standard form that could have been emailed and printed. I then noticed, they were both sent from and returned to my local agent's office. I was emailed on day 20 after my original contact to let me know the forms had been received and entered into the system. This 20-day lag all seems as if it would have been possible by telling me I could drive over and complete and sign the forms on day 1. I was informed in the email that it would take 7-10 business days to process these forms. Since I have 32 years of experience writing software for large organizations, I'm unaware of why the process couldn't be handled in an overnight batch or why there would be 3 days of variability in any process that seems like it would be fully automated from that point forward. I'm now looking at potentially 35-37 days to cancel and be paid out upon canceling. Much of my immediate need will be well in the past by then and I'm likely going to have a significant portion of the value I have paid in lost to overdue fees and outstanding balance penalties due to American Families inability to process a simple transaction in a 2–3-week timeframe.

American family insurance is awful horrible don't use them because if and when you need to make a claim and it is the first one you ever did they make you feel ok about having to do so but when all done they DROP you , why do you have insurance in first place to protect yourself and they DROP you so then you go through more stress .. and when you want them to fight for you they don't they just hand over the money to the loser that sues you the person that was just looking for money so very disappointed in them and I had had them for a long time

Changed insurance companies back in August and was still charged for months even though I canceled through the app. I received a letter in the mail stating Ibwas being sent to collection because I hadnt paid for 2 month's. Couldn't get ahold of my agent to send the updated insurance information and any other office referred me to the agent that I was assigned to! Will never choose them again and will never refer them to anyone ever!

Terrible customer service in ********* **. Raised rates often with little explanation. Procrastinated on a claim until 1 yr expiration of claim.

Absolute HORRIBLE company. I am not insured through American family, but had to deal with their claims department. Everyone I had to deal with was incredibly rude to me and I wouldnt recommend an animal to them because of how they treat people. Mary************ and her manager have no idea how to speak to people!! As a manager myself I would NEVER allow my employees to speak to customers the way these two spoke to me. Good luck to you all if you have to deal with these two women.

I have insurance through American Family Insurance in ******* *******. I live in ***** ****** *******. My rates on my Home owners policy raised almost 800 dollars in one year. I have never had a claim with them as long as i have been insured with them. They raised my rates so much that my home payment is out of control. I can't even make the payment now on a fixed income. I know it isn't my agents fault as it is the company itself. It raised my house payment by 120 dollars on the month. As they put my escrow in the red almost 900 dollars.

My insurance agent reysd my car and home insurance for 40% from last year. Car wos $661 a year now $1060 and moster polesy wos $790 now $1279 insayd home wos $308 now $437 and thet is a lot to go up for 40% in 1 yers Thanks for listening. Is not fer to pipole ho don't have any tickets and drive 5000 to 6000 miles a year
