This is for the New Advanced Auto on Hwy 50 in Delavan. Went there and said my back brakes needed to be checked as I heard noise. I signed a document saying I would pay $77 included in the needing breaks for inspection. After 50 minutes they came back and said they had done full inspection of the car. Why? I did NOT ask for this. They said I needed new back brakes but they were not that bad AND front brake fluid. I said I thought I had that done at dealer less then a year ago. They claimed to see it on ****** that it was not done since 15k miles. Then they gave me price and suddenly said I needed rotors too. I also called my dealer who said I had brake fluid done at 49k miles. I am at 56k miles right now. When I called them onthat they suddenly changed their tune and said they did see that on ****** now. Really? Told them I did not think I was going with them as I was feeling not trusting. They asked me for a credit card for the $77. I refused to give it. Got in my car, tried to leave. They literally locked me in the place. They would not let me pull out. Would not open the door. Manager came and tried to calm me. I gave them the stupid $77 and then they let me leave. I have reported this to local police too as that is INSANE to lock me in there for $77 when their service was terrible and they are clearly liars trying to get more business out of me. This is VERY disappointing as I would love to give local business the work. The owner tried to talk to me but I was shaking and felt so violated that I just left. Do NOT use them. They try to do things you don't need too. Very sad as I was hoping for something local versus going to ********* to my dealer. However, I can totally trust the dealer who has done a great job for me for 5 years.
