I spoke to a guy in the service center and explained to him I needed to change the purge valve in my car and get an oil change. I explained that i have a diagnostic machine and looked everything up. He explained to me that it would be $250 to fix this issue. After they received my vehicle someone called and told me the oil change would be $80 so i told them to disregard the oil change as i only pay $40 for them elsewhere. After that i received another call saying that i was right and that it was the purge valve that needed to be fixed but they had to run their own diagnostic test and that would be an additional $150! My diagnostic machine was in the car on the passenger seat so it was clear that i knew what the issue was and did it myself. The purge valve is $25 at autozone but they charged me $183.05 for it and the $250 i was told 3 different times turned into $491.45! Took them 30 minutes to fix my car and almost charged me double of what I was originally charged to fix it! Not at any time out of the 4 calls i had with them before i agreed to have them fix my car was i told it would cost $150 for them to find out what the issue was just to tell me i was right! I feel robbed!
