On 08/25/2014, the business filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the federal Bankruptcy Act, case# 14-11990. This permits the business to continue to operate with court supervision while developing a plan of reorganization. Complaint: I was a student with this school for two years, that entire time the school has never believed in its students. I was just recently kicked out of school and my internship site for some lies that were told, when I had a meeting with school they refused to hear what I had to say when I had proof that the complaint they recieved was false. Just before the meeting ended the dean of education had called me a worthless student.I don't believe this is how a school is suppose to act with thier students, I believe they are suppose to stand behind thier students.

Desired Settlement: I would like the chance to complete my internship I had two weeks left and I would have done with everything been able to graduate. And never return back to that school.

The student enrolled in June, 2011. Upon enrollment, the student agreed to abide by all of the College’s policies, including a Code of Conduct stated in the school’s Catalog. However, throughout the enrollment, the student had a number of issues pertaining to conduct, including using profanity in the classroom. At that time, the student was warned that such behavior was in violation of the College’s polices and could lead to withdrawal from the program.  The student began his/her externship in January, 2013, but was subsequently terminated from the site.  The site stated the student was dismissed due to unprofessional behavior. 

 

In February, 2013, the student requested a reentry meeting to come back into the program of study.  The student was once again counseled regarding the College’s conduct and professionalism expectations.  The College agreed to give the student another opportunity and allowed him/her to return in the program.  The student then began the second externship in March, 2013, however, was once again dismissed from the site. The site stated that the student’s attitude, conduct and a HIPAA violation were the reasons for dismissal.  The student was subsequently withdrawn from the program.

 

In conclusion, the College maintains that there was no wrongdoing on the part of the school. The College has made a good faith effort to assist the student in his/her pursuit of education, however,  the student repeatedly failed to follow the College’s policies and, thus, was dismissed from the program.
