Complaint: I recently purchased and received "Home BJJ and Judo Practice Martial Arts and MMA" mats from Greatmats.com, but am frustrated and upset because I feel that they misrepresented their product. On the product's page and under its description tab, it states that, "The mats are easy to install and can be installed on any hard flat surface, including installation directly on top of concrete," which is exactly what I did. I connected the mats and set them down on my clean garage floor and proceeded to use them. Unfortunately, the mats were constantly sliding from performing basic footwork and kicking drills, all done at slow speeds. In the description of the product, it states that the mats are non-slip, which is clearly not the case, at least for the mats that I received. I almost slipped and fell multiple times before deciding to stop using the mats so as to not fall and injure myself. Then, I emailed the company and they suggested using double sided carpet tape to connect the mats to the concrete, and none of the several kinds of tape that I purchased stuck to the mats as they said it would. Once that didn't work, they then suggested using rubber mesh flooring, but the mats continued to slide. I risked my health and safety, and spent a great deal of money and time so that the mats would perform as advertised. I would respectfully periodically inform the company of each situation, and each time they would take no responsibility for their product. I don't wish to be reimbursed for the product, but simply would like to be able to return the misrepresented product free of charge. Your help in making this happen would be much appreciated. Thank you for your services.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *******, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Greatmats claims to not guarantee that the mats won't slide however I don't see that information anywhere on there website. Also, the definition of install is to "place of fix in position ready for use." Finally, how they ended their response by saying, "One would think...," seems condescending in nature.
