Complaint: On may 22 I asked for a Refund on time (http://anything-digital.com/order-cancellation-and-refunds.html) for $35 USD, they told me that they would refund this cancelling the purchase on Paypal. I waited a long time but they didn't do anything. On August 8 I asked again for my refund. They told me that they mised it and that since Paypal does not allow for cancellations after 30 days thay needed an account thay can send a payment to. I send them my paypal account and noticed them that by this method Paypal would charge me $10 USD for taking out the money from my account, and that they should pay it because of their negligence and delay. They answer me that they dont take any responsibility on the extra fees. The charge related to this 3rd party is because of their negligence. If they had returned the money when I asked for it Paypal would had give me that money back to my credit card with no extra fees. Because of their delay Paypal will charge me. They Guarantee 30 Day Money Back, and I'm waiting since MAY, So it seemms pretty clear that is their responsability. http://anything-digital.com/order-cancellation-and-refunds.html ... These are lies?
Desired Settlement: I want my 35 USD back. I Want 10 USD for the extra fee. I want a indemnification of 50 USD for waiting 3 month to have my money back for a service that I didn't use. **********************************************************************************
Business Response: The complainant did request a refund within the 30 days as per our Refund Policy for the $35 value of the subscription, at that time we offered support which was declined. The response declining the support was missed and the refund was not processed.
When several months later the complainant inquired again regarding the refund, it was no longer possibly to simply process a refund through Paypal since this can only be done for 60 days after the purchase date. We offered to send the $35 to the complainant's Paypal account in order to honor the refund, which can be used at full value to make any online purchases or payments.
After additional consideration we offered to cover the expense of the processing fees associated with transferring funds from the Paypal as a courtesy if written proof of the cost could be provided. The complainant supplied such proof in the form of a webpage that shows the cost of the financial institution's fee yesterday afternoon. We received notice of the BBB complaint with demands for an additional $50 before we had a change discuss and respond to the provided information.
We offer the refund of $35 as well as the $10 as a courtesy as offered for a total of $45 to be sent to the provided Paypal account as a final settlement of any disputes the claimant has against Anything Digital
Better Business Bureau:
There is a link with the emails that proof that what they are saying is a lie. They offered me the refund, I accepted it but then they never gave it to me.
Then *** explicit said on one of this emails that HE MISSED IT.
So please don't lie and accept your responsabilities.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *******, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I want my money ASAP.

BBB's Final Determination: Consumer accepted resolution offered by the business.

Complaint: They sell a product online that does not perform as advertised. This program alleges that it integrates with one of their other programs called **** ***, a calendar system. We realized that this program does not integrate properly and the result is listing of calendar events from this program an hour earlier than actual. They continue to sell this program to this day and the answer from the company was this program is no longer supported and the issue will not be addressed. This is the answer from the company: "Sorry for the missed post. This is an issue that has arisen because **** * and RSVP handle timezones differently (likely related to newer versions of php). This is one of the reasons we have integrated registrations directly in **** *** * for Joomla 2.5 + Unfortunately, since Joomla 1.5 is EOL and this would require a major redesign of RSVP this will not be addressed.
Desired Settlement: I would rather that the company resolve the issue as we have already deployed websites for clients that have now realized the issue and the fact that it is really not usable as is. To rework the sites would require significant work and to not deliver on the contracted features could result in legal issues for our company not being able to deliver a working product based on sales efforts to gain client business.
Business Response: We will be glad to refund the subscription for "I'll be there RSVP"
Note that **** *** * can be installed on currently supported Joomla versions which has registration capabilities similar to RSVP (some functionality is different), which will not require the integration that causes these issues.
I am sending a personal email to the customer offering the refund.
BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
