BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating Overview
BBB Customer Reviews Rating represents the customers opinions of the business. The Customer Review Rating is based on the number of positive, neutral and negative customer reviews posted that are calculated to produce a score.
|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|
|Neutral Review||3 points per review|
|Negative Review||1 point per review|
BBB letter grades represent the BBB's opinion of the business. The BBB grade is based on BBB file information about the business. In some cases, a business' grade may be lowered if the BBB does not have sufficient information about the business despite BBB requests for that information from the business.
BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.

Complaint: Took clothes in to sale Saturday,in the process of returning my Car went completely out....that was the purpose of selling my clothes....to get my car fixed.....i called told them what happened,....if it was ok can I return to get my clothes or earnings first thing in the morning .young lady told me it was perfectly fine,no worries things happen....made a phone call to let them know I'm on my way ON the BUS,she said my things were donated to a mission.....I had well over 500 worth of clothes AND they CLAIM nothing was purchased.No money no clothes......extremely upset.
Desired Settlement: I want my clothes....
We got to the bottom and followed-up on this. The story that Tonya presented is inaccurate. Her sister, Toni brought in her clothes (see receipt attached). It is our practice to fill this slip out for EVERY customer that brings in clothes to sell (WI requirement)--we have no record that Ms.***** ********** brought the clothes. Her sister Toni brought in her clothes. Store manager ***** ***** called Ms. **** ********** (sister) last week and Ms. **** ********** confirmed the story that she brought in clothes for her sister *****. **** proceeded to tell her that her sister ***** was mad at her for allowing her clothes to be donated. When customers drop off clothes at Re-threads to sell, they are told of the policy and the donation process and they SIGN the slip.
We feel that we did our job in explaining the process at Re-threads to the person that brought in the clothes (her sister) and that Ms. ***** ********** presented an inaccurate story desiring to get money from us without any justification. Since Ms. ***** ********** did NOT drop off her clothes and her sister did (attached documentation as proof and Najah's personal phone call last week) this complaint is false.
