Complaint: I had the porcelain bathtub at my home resurfaced on 06/06/14. When I originally called to inquire about the service, I was told by *** ******, *** ***** and service provider, that the higher price he charges is due to superior application, which was likely to last up to 10 years without issue. I paid $501.60 on the date of service. On 06/14/14, I noticed a spot on the finish was already peeling in my bathtub. I called Mr. ****** and left a message on 06/16/14. I did not receive a return call, so I emailed him on 06/18/14 and included pictures of the spot. He responded on 06/18/14 to say that this was man made damage (which would not be covered by the warranty) and that I would be charged for any return visit to fix it. I responded on that same day to say that I had followed his care instructions exactly and asked how I would have chipped it. Mr. ****** has not responded to me at all since 06/18/14. A two year warranty is indicated on the receipt. I did not chip the resurfacing; however, no terms of this warranty have ever been provided to me.
Desired Settlement: I would like this fixed free of charge to me. If Mr. ****** is not willing to stand behind his work that was defective after less than two weeks, I would like a full refund so I can have the tub resurfaced by someone who can make it last at least through the warranty period.

IT WAS EXPLAINED TO THE COSTUMER THAT FROM THE PICTURE SHE SENT US WE COULD TELL IT WAS A CHIP NOT PEELING.
SHE WAS NOT WILLING TO EXCEPT THAT REALITY.
1) AFTER DOING A ON SITE INSPECTION THE (PEELING) IN QUESTION WAS INDEED MAN MADE DAMAGE (A CHIP).
2) THIS MAN MADE CHIP IS COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO THE JOB THAT WE PERFORMED FOR SAID COSTUMER.
3) THE PRICES REFERENCED IN THE COMPLAINT ARE COMPLETELY INACCURATE.
4) THE DATES GIVEN ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCURATE.
5) OUR FINISH DOES NOT SPONTANEOUSLY POP OFF IN 1/16"X 1/8" PIECES.
6) OUR WARRANTY CLEARLY STATES THAT MAN MADE DAMAGE WILL NOT BE COVERED.
HAVING SAID ALL THAT WE DID FIX THE MAN MADE CHIP WHILE PREFORMING THE ON SITE INSPECTION TO APPEASE THE CUSTOMER TO HER SATISFACTION.
