Complaint: This complaint includes more than one area. We initially dropped our car off for repair with an agreed price amount as well as a completion date. The company failed to complete the car on several different occassions at the agreed upon date. In addition no one from the shop bothered to contact us to inform us the car would not be ready on these designated dates. We were given on price quote, and when the work was finally completed after almost two weeks the bill had jumped up an additional $ 230.00. We were never contacted about the need to increase the estimate orginally given. The work was completed without that notification and when we questioned why the bill had jumped so much and requested to see the receipts for why the amount had risen...we were denied. To top it off the day the vehicle was picked up and taken home. The car did not work properly (vehicle would not shut off). Several attempts via phone and text were made to owner to no avail. Subsequently contact was made with the owner. We were told the car had a 30 day warranty for work performed. The vehicle was taken back to the shop due to the problem (s) indicated above. The shop called and said the timing belt on the car needed to be replaced. I was told by several different body shops that the belt was a part that should have been replaced as the head gasket was being fixed, however, no mechanic ever mentioned/suggested this repair. We were told it would be an additional $ 350.00 (after paying $ 688.00 less than a week ago) to repair the timing belt. I was also provided from various shops that the timing belt should be covered under the warranty b/c in order to repair the head gasket, the timing belt has to be manipulated, streched, reset, etc and could easily have been broken during that work...especially if it were the original belt that was on the vehicle. I have spoken to the owner on numerous occassion with no assistance or courtesy. I am told they will call me back which never occurs.

Desired Settlement: At this point I would either like a complete refund for the poor repair done on my vehicle or the warranty honored and the vehicle fixed properly. And i would like for the business to review their business practices when dealing with customers and their treatment.
