8/5/2013 You DO NOT want to purchase a vehicle from Ewald Automotive Group in Oconomowoc! I purchased a used 2010 Chrysler Town and Country minivan from them, and within 2 weeks, the tire stem blew off when I was filling it with air! This was a Saturday afternoon, so I called the dealer. Nobody answered for a long time, and then someone from the service department answered. They told me to tow the vehicle to their location in Mayville or somewhere near there. I did, but Ewald then refused to pay for the tire repair and/or tow even though they told me they would handle everything! They were very rude, condescending an lied about everything. Seven months later, I still haven't gotten my tire fixed (it needed the pressure sensor but the tow company didn't have that when they fixed my tire!) and I paid like $350 dollars or so for something that should have been covered. They lost out in potential sales of 5 or more new vehicles for my new business and I tell everyone not to purchase vehicles from them due to my experience. On top of it, I never received my title from time even though I had to pay for it and they refuse to get my title for me.

4/12/2013 My experience at Ewald Oconomowac. My first salesman **** ****** was great, thanks ****! Then was passed on to another salesman to show me the features on my new Jeep Wrangler. After test drive noticed 2 scratches I wanted fixed right away, but they were only able to fix the one scratch at the time. As I was about to drive with my new wheels, I asked where the torx screwdriver was located to be able to remove roof of Wrangler. The salesman told me it was located in the back part of Jeep. I took his word for it. He handed me the second set of key and told me that that key didnt work earlier in my jeep, but to try it out again later on. When I got home, the key was the wrong key to my jeep, and there was no torx screwdriver anywhere in my jeep as I was told there was. A few emails were exchanged about this. I had asked for rubber floor mats due to the errors that had occurred on their part. And was told thru email by salesman that that would be looked into for their cleanup. Never heard anything a few weeks later I called them. Talked with very rude salesman once again, him telling me that he NEVER said anything about floor mats! But that he did. And as far as the missing hoax driver, salesman called me back after I said it was actually missing, and he said that Jeep isnt selling them anymore with vehicles. Then why was I told it was there? I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership! I told rude salesperson I will take my business elsewhere, and he stated your welcome too. Really! You bet im welcome too. Get your story straight and find a new career. Goodbye Ewald in Oconomowac. Oh and just fyi: its the law to have liscense plate on front of vehicles in Wisconsin. If you work at a dealership with vehicles, shouldnt the salesman know that!!!!
