Complaint Category: Repairs resulted in additional damage
Complaint: We were approached by a sales person with C&R Boger Construction in July for a new roof. We were in the market for one so we had them come out to do an estimate. We decided to go ahead with the project. The first problem we ran into with them was scheduling the job. They wanted to come out on a day we couldn't be here. I asked for an alternate day and they said they would get back to me. They didn't get back to me until a month later. They came out to replace the roof and while they were replacing a piece of sheeting, one of the guys lost his footing and came down through our ceiling. They made a hole in our ceiling about two and a half feet in diameter. This hole was in our daughter's craft room. I went in to clean up the mess of insulation and my throat and nose started to burn. I had to call the company a week later to schedule it to get fixed because no one called us about it. They made an appointment with me to come out and fix it on Friday Sept. 6th at 12:30pm. I had to leave work early for this. One o'clock rolled around and no one had shown up yet so I called. The person that was supposed to come ran behind on another job and is not able to make it out today. Now we have to wait another week for them to come out and fix it. This will be 18 days after the incident. In the meantime no one can go in this room. Our daughter has cystic fibrosis which affects the respitory organs. This is not good for her.

Complaint: 1. We were unable to see product door sample for purchase and therefore did not want to purchase. We felt pressured to purchase it anyway with no guarantee that we could return it if not satisfied.
