Park Rose claims it is a rehabilitation center however they do not have enough equipment such as batteries for ***** lifts so that residents are up for therapy appointments. They also do not reprimand the CNAs for not getting the residents up so they can go work with therapy. They currently suspended me which I will be contacting the department of labor about but it was partially for trying to get appropriate mattresses for residents who are complaining about them. The center also claims it cares for people. There are lots of nurses who do not refer residents to therapy or even give pain pills when someone is in pain. I am in contact with the states ombudsmans over several of these issues. The administrator has told me to stop calling the state. This would be an unsafe environment for the residents if I did that. The facility claims it is safe. I have also reported the building for fraud to the state and OIG for missing equipment and supplies. I am hoping some of this is covered with the bbb. I did read your types of resolutions. There are patients who really were not able to receive therapy due to CNAs not getting them ** in their wheelchairs. It has been an ongoing issue that management is more than well aware of. They have done very little to correct the situations. I am going to choose that you finish the problem for desired resolution. I am not an attorney nor do I have one so I am somewhat confused as to the information you need or what you can do. I have spoken to corporate HR several times and a BSN from corporate briefly who is currently in the building as acting dns. We have not had a good consistent dns for a long time now.
