BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. Complaint: We purchased a home from Pacific Ridge Homes. In addition to the standard warranty there was a separate warranty sheet we signed for toilets. Within two weeks of occupying the home we notified the builder that the toilet was stopped up in the master bathroom. They refused to come clear the problem and we subsequently hired a plumber spending over $200 in a brand new home. The plumber stated that the cause of the stoppage was construction debris. When I found the toilet warranty I again reached out to the builder sending him a copy of the toilet warranty and the plumber's bill asking them to reimburse us. They claim that they are not responsible and are refusing to reimburse us for something they are clearly responsible for.
Desired Settlement: We would like a refund for the costs of the plumber.
Pacific Ridge Homes contacted the customer a few weeks ago to let them know we would be reimbursing them for the cost to fix the toilet. The request for a check has been submitted to our accounting department (after we received a copy of the invoice) and this will be ready for the customer next week. We have contact the customer to let them know the status. We have corrected the miscommunication with our warranty department so this issue does not occur in the future.
