You have plenty of time to start planning and gathering your personal and financial documents. It’s simple and easy, you don’t even have to get out of your car! BBB staff unloads your documents and they are immediately placed in the mobile shredding unit and destroyed on site! In addition to your own information, please give some thought to the seniors in your life that may need assistance disposing of personal and financial documents.

ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS - Protect your company & your customers – bring your business materials that need shredding too! BBB Secure Your ID Day is provided free to consumers and area businesses in an effort to prevent Identity Theft by encouraging and promoting the importance of protecting personal and financial information.

Since beginning this program in 2008, the BBB in western VA has helped consumers shred nearly 161 tons of personally identifiable documents.  The success and popularity of ‘Secure Your ID’ Day grows every year and the BBB is proud to provide this service to communities across North America.
