      My Tacoma had the 3rd brake light recall, so I scheduled the Monday after Thanksgiving for them to receive my vehicle. It took them until after the new year to get it done. When I got the truck back I noticed there was damage done to the back window seal below my 3rd brake light. I contacted my service advisor and sent her pictures. She said a window service specialist would come out and look at my truck. Shortly thereafter she calls and says her manager would like to see it. He comes out very unprofessionally dressed, and says that they did not do it. The gasket looks like it has been ripped and has had black silicone put on it to cover it up. I asked him what could we do to make it look better, and he says that they can put more silicone on it?? That would make it look even worse, but when I said that it would not look good he states that my truck already looks bad so what does it even matter? I did not think that if you spend $40,000 on a truck at Toyota, regardless if this is where you bought it or not that they would insult you and your vehicle? Horrible experience from the start.

      While doing the repair it takes a little longer do to the fact we had to have a third party come in and clean and treat the inside of vehicle as per the recall. As far as the window seal, it is dry rotted from age. Our technician did put some silicone along the crack hoping to help the customer so that water would not get in there and cause another issue. We offered to have our window guy come and make the silicone look better at no charge for the customer. The technician did not cause the issue with the glass seal so therefore we do not feel we our responsible to replace the seal which is made on the rear glass. But, in the interest of the customer and do to the fact the technician did not share pictures of that area in advance the dealer will order and replace the glass and strip for them .

      Beware of a scam! They publish the wrong prices on their web page, and agree to the sale. They even took my deposit over the phone to hold the card for me. When I went to do the paperwork they increased the price $9,000 and did not tell me, they just asked me to sign the form. Questioned what this contract was and they said to purchase the card. I told them that was not the price, I even had it in writing and they would not honor it. They said it was a mistake on their webpage. I explained I discussed the price with the salesman and he told me that was the price. Said will not sell the car at the quoted price. Later that day, they changed the price on the car I was buying but reduced the price on another similar vehicle. They are playing games. Be careful working with them.

      Our manager explained to the customer that the internet price was a mistake. Used car buyer changed the price on this car in error when he was trying to re-price another car. The mistake was noticed and changed as soon as we caught it.

      My experience at Haley was absolutely terrible. It was Complete bait and switch from the start. I was mislead on the financing. I was told in order to get a good rate I had to add all these extra on top of the loan. Such as Gap insurance, wheel and tire warranties, extended warranties. If you add the cost of the extras all together. It is roughly $6,000. Once I questioned all the added extras that I didn’t agree too, I was given attitude. Then I was told I had to at least keep the warranty and gap insurance to get a favorable (low) interest rate. They told me if I wouldn’t add the extended warranty I would have a high interest rate and the price of the car would go up. When I told the salesman I had that I I would never do business here again, he got an attitude and started cursing after I asked him politely not to raise his voice. Then, he started cussing me. The management sat there and watched through the window while it happened. The finance manager did come out as I was about to leave and apologized on behalf of the Business itself. With my terrible experience, I never recommend anyone doing business with Haley Toyota.

      Customer was contacted, we offered to unwind the deal if he was not completely satisfied. After talking to our finance director, all concerns addressed and handled.
