Complaint: The pavement was not successfully done right. I have contacted the company several times in order to resolve this matter. The last time that I spoke with them the gentleman that owns the company hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. They have not answered the phone since then. He did this job but did not stand behind his warranty. Started contacting **** in Aprill of last year and have tried and tried to get in touch with him, he still not got back with me.

Desired Settlement: For the company to come and look at the pavement and fix what needs to be fixed.

Business Response: Hello, This letter is in response to the complaint made by  Mr.*******. Mr. ******* did call last year to complain of marks in his driveway I did go out there to take a look they were power steering marks made in the driveway I repaired the driveway, and explained to Mr.******* that these were power steering marks He lives on a very high traffic Road and cars that come in and turn around in his driveway quickly on hot days can leave these kind of marks at the bottom of his contract you will see that there is a caution about this. We have been out once to fix this & explained the situation to Mr.******* We will offer to come out there and repair that place in the driveway one more time , however we recommend Mr.******* places a sign in his driveway  about not letting traffic turn around. We apologize to Mr.******* for any inconvenience   to him . **** ***

Consumer Response: I am responding to the letter I received dated March 13, 2012, for the complaint between ***** ******* and ****'s Paving complaint #******* I'm not concerned about the tire marks **** is talking about- we don't have people turning around in our driveway as he says, because first off we live on a hill that's hard getting in and out of, I actually have to park my vehicle in backwards so that I'm able to get out in the mornings to go to work, because traffic is kind of heavy in the mornings. My  biggest concern is the bad place in the driveway that has let water run underneath the black top causing it to bubble and look like a washboard (wavey), not only that, from one side to the other it has sunk as much as 2 inches. I feel that **** should be man enough to make an appointment with me face to face, then I can show him the problems that are occuring. I do not get off work till 4:00 pm so I think it would be appropriate for him to call and come by while I'm home, instead of hanging up on me like he has done in the past, when i try to contact him.   Regards, ***** *******

Business Response: In Response to Mr.*******s Letter We have done all that we can to his driveway His Guarantee was up last June 2011 We have been up to look at his driveway, and the damag is  caused by the ground settling. We are responsible for grass, cracks, chipping or peeling but we cannont guarantee ground settlement Thank you, **** ***

Consumer Response: I'm so sorry that Mr **** *** has to lie about this situation. He was notified numerous times before June 2011. He hasn't been by to look at the driveway, or tried to contact me by phone. There is ground settlement but its due to the fact of water running under the pavement from the cracks in the pavement. There is grass, cracks, chipping, and peeling with in the pavement. We have had the driveway checked by other pavers around and they have stated it was a poor job, and that not enough rock went down under the pavement. It"s not that we are wanting something for nothing it's just that we want it fixed. The driveway shouldn't look like this after only a year, with the possibility of having to re-do it or have it re-sealed somehow. I will tell you that with my experience with Mr **** *** that I "WILL NOT" recommend his business anymore to anyone. This was a bad job that he did. I may even put an article in the news paper about his business. Regards, ***** *******    

Business Response: Mr. *** states they will go back one more time and spray the grass and put a good sealer on and that is all he is willing to do.  Company will call and set up a time to come out on a Saturday.

Consumer Response: Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *******, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Ms. ******* states she would prefer that he call & make an appointment to come when her husband is there. As long as he performs these items, as promised, we will assume the complaint resolved.
