Complaint: Was told at first warranty info would be given at final payment 12/31/13, then was told we would get it in the mail. Never got anything. Called back in late Jan. '14 and late Feb. '14 and was told same thing. Called back mid Mar. '14 and they never returned call. Here it is May 13, 2014 and still nothing on 15 windows, vinyl siding, gutters and 2 doors.

Desired Settlement: Send us our warranty info like a professional co. would.

Business Response: Manufacturers have gone away from hard copies of their warranties opting for digital.  All of the warranties for the ***** are registered.  Please review this response from ****** which was emailed to the ***** and copied to me.  I have requested Hard copies for the ***** by telephone. Our workmanship warranty is spelled out in the contract so there is no additional copy to be provided.  I have explained all of this to the ***** previously.  I respond to all customer inquiries so I am unaware of any additional attempts to contact me regarding this matter. I do not know what more I can do!

Consumer Response: Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Complaint: Vinyl Siding Pealing

Desired Settlement: Want It Replaced

Business Response: We are aware of the problem with Mr. ******** trim.  The PVC coating is peeling from the Aluminum.  We are still waiting on a response as to whether the manufacturer will cover it under warranty and it is unclear if the warranty will cover labor to replace it.  Again we are waiting to hear from our supplier.  This is a problem beyond our control and is not a result of anything that we have done for Mr. ********.  Material peeling is a manufacturer's defect.  As soon as we have a resolution we will be glad to take care of the trim work.  Unfortunately, we may end up having to charge Mr. ******** something for this work.
