The house and garage were done on September 24th 2012.

At no time after completion was there a complaint about ripped screens or garbage left on ground of roof.

A cheque dated October 4th, 2012 was collected from the homeowner.

Again we heard no complaints.

A work order was generated on Jan 29th, 2013 due to a complaint of lifting shingles.

The Work Order was generated for shingles lifting-check complete roof.

Two men were sent February 1st, 2013 and checked the roof and hand sealed the lifting shingles.

At no time on these two occasions did we hear about ripped screws debris in the caves, or a broken lock on the window upstairs.

On June 25th,************* went out on a complaint that there was water coming from behind the eaves trough and they found shingles on the ground.

*********** asked to see the shingles but they had thrown them out. *********** then showed *********** a broken latch on the inside of a second story window. She noted that there was tar on the inside of the window and therefore one of our worker's must have broken the 25 YEAR OLD window.
***************************************************************** ***************************************************************

This is almost two years later and yes *********** did take exception to this accusation. As for the eaves trough when our service tech went out the trough was plugged with maple keys. From a roof we did almost two years ago. The trough was not plugged for two years.

*** unplugged the trough and if was filled with maple keys not roofing debris.

*** did replace three shingles that were blown off.

As for the missing felt paper It is at the top of roof and the roofers do not like to fold over the felt over the ridge because it sometimes lifts the ridge cap up and causes it to look uneven. We will investigate it further if desired.

As for the fan in the attic that was their idea. **** went out and checked the attic insulation and there was no wet insulation.

Copies of the work orders will be mailed.

************** the entire roof was supposed to be covered with asphalt saturated felt paper which was not done. Also the cleaning and removing all debri was not done. I picked up hundreds of old roofing nails from our yard plus neighbours yard. My husband said they were supposed to be nailed down.

Inspection in the attic shows holes all over. I have screens that were ripped drip edge pulled away from eaves trough, which as I stated *** was supposed to have fixed. We still keep red barrel at side of house to collect water. Also at top of eavestrough West and east they must be blocked possibly with shingle debris as eaves through is leaking further down the pipes. ***************************************************************** ***************************************

Thank you

Final Business Response
Since the last correspondence Sure Seal Roofing & siding has gone out to the ***** residence to address the complaint that the downspouts were clogged by roofing debris from two years ago. Our service man took apart all the downspouts and found no roofing debris. He did find leaves and other debris but nothing related to roofing. As for the ripped screen and 20+ year old window our stand is the same. The roof was done Two years ago and we are now being blamed for this, why was this not brought up until now? We consider this matter closed.
