Timeline of events Special FX *** ruined my new car 5/24/23 5:36p I picked up my car from Special FX in ******, it was after close so I paid fairly quickly and left. On my drive home I had noticed many more bubbles that Ive seen in any of my past cars but with time I figured they would go away. These bubbles did not dissipate with time and the quality of tint installation is not that of a professional. The lack of professional work is still on my car for you to see in person. However, I will do the best with some photos included. 05/27/23 In the evening hours as I am washing my car at the self wash as I spray towards the back end of the car, I see by the small back driver side window, a string of black seal come flying out. Special FX clearly took the piece and tucked it back in hoping I would never notice. Looking closer there are cuts all over the seal and on both of those windows. Mind you, this is a brand new 2023 car that had not one prior imperfection. 05/28/2023 12:18p I call and explain the tint issue and mention the gain control k*** was not installed? They claimed that they forgot to install the external gain control k*** that I had requested prior to installation. This was included in the price. Special FX told me I had to bring the car down and that photos for the meantime wouldnt help. This was a huge inconvenience on top of ruining my rear windows car seals.(I would like to mention that I had a prior appointment 5/19/23 and when I had arrived he said he called my appointment off. I never received the call, showed up at 9:00am to find out he couldnt get me in. I had a friend follow me so he wasted both of our times once already.)6/01/23-6/29/23 Not any concern from the business. Not one form of correspondence to show just a little concern.6/30/23 Approx 1:00p I stopped to Special FX and they looked at my car. Then only said to me you disputed the charge on your card, I would have gave your money back and fixed it. I then left
