After Fox Pools opened my pool last year, they installed and have opened and closed every year since 2013. I noticed that I was not able to vacuum it correctly. After calling them Friday June 5, they were sure that there was a whole in the vacuum hose and owner #1 was not able to lend one to test. I did go in that day and purchase a new one, stating that I would be returning the next day because that was not the problem. Item was returned on Saturday for full credit. Requested to get service and testing. Approximately 6/13 Fox sent a worker out and he stated he was 50% sure there was a leak, but recommended to call American Leak Detection, which I did and set up apt for 6/18. Owner #1 called back the next morning and stated that he did not know why his staff would make that recommendation and that we would be wasting our money. 6/18 American Leak Detection came out and cut two holes in the cement and found at least 16 termite holes in the piping that Fox Pools uses that is rated for above ground pools only cost $395. Requested service from Owner #1, he stated he would have us up and running by 7/4. On 6/30 still nothing from Owner #1, so I made a google review. Owner #1 called back the next morning stating to my husband that they were going to be out that week, but after my google review we should find someone else to service the pool. Which we already had, American Leak again came out and found additional leaks and was paid $900. Orkin was contracted and paid $995 on 7/28, and an additional $500 on 8/11. We are currently working with Polynesian Pools to get new plumbing to all but the main drain, which at the point has come in at $5,500, this is a fix that is replacing the plumbing with the appropriate plumbing for underground use. Additionally, Owner #2 also had to completely redo his pool 7-8 years ago for the same reason that we are doing, Termites attacking the incorrectly used plumbing and yet Fox Pools are still using this plumbing with zero warning to customers. At this point I am out $8,290 for incorrect use of pool equipment and still have the main drain to replace when we purchase a new liner as well as additional concrete repairs and resurfacing costs, and have had zero help or relief from Fox Pools.
