Bought an ultimate suite package through *******. Recieved a deluxe suite when arrived. No compensation or compromise offered by management. $100 diff
Bought an ultimate suite package through *******. Arrived and received a deluxe suite. $50 per night price difference and difference in room size and amenities. Approached desk staff and suggested a $50 restaurant voucher to cover $100 value difference. Seemed fair due to *******'s 50% off deals. Desk staff was unable to do anything without a manager. Manager was unavailable for weekend according to desk staff. Checked with desk staff a few hours later to see if manager had contacted desk staff. Still not available. Checked next day and manager was onsite during all conversations with desk staff. Management offered no compensation or compromise to resolve value difference between advertise ******* package and package received.

Desired Settlement
A refund of $50-$100 based on service received vs services purchased through *******. Refund from either hotel or ******* would be acceptable.

Guest purchased *******, Option 4: $309 for a romance package that includes a bottle of champagne, fresh rose petals on bed, and a $50 dining credit for two at ************************t (up to a $503 value). When guest called to make reservation we were sold out of Ultimate Suites for that particular weekend. Guest was told that we could move them to a Lakeside Deluxe Suite at no additional charge and that we would honor ******* for that room type as well. Guest confirmed this was okay verbally. Guest was sent a confirmation letter stating such, our policies, etc.... guest was sent a reminder letter 2 weeks prior to reservation stating room type, policies, etc... When guest arrived, she (wife) was upset regarding the room change. Explained that other guest (husband) had made this reservation, confirmed the room change on desired date and received confirmations. Value on the 2 night stay in the modified room (Deluxe Suite) is $503 - the same as the value on the Ultimate Suite. Would not issue guest a refund as Guest had the ability to cancel stay at time of check-in, without penalty. They decided to stay therfore voiding any refund possibility from ******* as well.

While I still feel that the ********** treated me unfairly and did not uphold their portion of the ******* package contract, I'd like to remove my request for compensation from my complaint.
