Complaint
First billing contained late charges.
Billing within 30 days should only contain service charges. Contact regarding landed no compromise. Tags left on door due not constitute an invoice.No charges amounts are located on charge and tag has no name,and as in my case did not receive a tag.

An application of ***** *********** was made on **. ******* lawn on 7/25/12. According to **. *****, he did not receive an invoice on the door for that service. We do not know whether the invoice bag was not left on the door or blew away, etc. The charge for the application was $82.00. **. ***** paid for the application online on 9/8/2012, $85.00, which included a $3.00 late charge. Apparently **. ***** must have paid from the statement which was mailed to him since he did not receive the invoice bag on the door. As a result of the payment being past 30 days, our system automatically will add a late charge of $3.00 to the account. Since it was only a few days past due, and the customer did not receive the original invoice, we would normally not charge the customer for the late fee if it was pointed out by the customer. Unfortunately, that did not happen in this case.

**. ***** sent an email on 9/9/12 indicating that the product we had used was ineffective, and that he had to treat his lawn himself with another product. Our records indicate that there may have been confusion as to what the ***** *********** intended to treat. The ***** *********** was meant to control white grubs (European Chafer, Japanese Beetles, etc.). There apparently multiple insect issues with **. *****' lawn. The ***** *********** was applied to treat the white grubs in the lawn and not the other insects. The other insects indicated in his email (ants, moths) would require different ************.

We will be refunding the $85.00 charge for which **. ***** did not receive an invoice at the door, and apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding.
