Your review seems a little unfair as you leave out important information regarding the project completed at your residence. Yes, you were told the project would take approximantly ten days. Trust me when I say we lost the ability to do multiple other projects when the time extended past what was initially guesstimated. However, you failed to mention that ***** had a cancer scare and had surgery during your project to remove a lymph node from his groin. You also did not bring up that he returned to your home the NEXT day against the doctor's ****** to continue to work.Additionally, you left out that he then went on to sustain a potentially life-threatening infection that caused him to be admitted into the hostipal for four days and then released with a drain tube in his groin. During this time, you were kept abreast of the situation. Honestly, you were very understanding and supportive of ***** taking all the time he needed for recovery and were incredibly gracious in offering your support to our family. AJL was contracted to remove a deteriorating retaining wall, and trim evergreens, install a replacement retaining wall and stairs. Also noted in the contract is damage caused to the lawn would be repaired. Your project was completed as specified leaving you with a beautiful set of stairs and a stunning retaining wall. You also failed to note the amount of rain AJL had to contend with during this project. Utilizing the heavy machinery to navigate the cumbersome blocks in an area with virtually no room for error became hazardous. On several occasions, work was impossible in the aftermath of the slippery ground. At least six tons of soil was trucked in to assist in the repair of the yard, and Scotts Turf Builder Sun and Shade mix was applied, not once but twice. Again, the rain became an issue during this time.On top of that, you and ***** had a text misunderstanding that you agreed could have been avoided had you spoken to each other. Even after that, that did not stop ***** from helping your husband with a project he told ***** he did not know how to do. This request was outside the original contract and cost AJL time and material. I do apologize that the relationship seemed to end on bad terms; as you and I discussed, a lot of that could have been avoided had a verbal conversation taken place. Please also remember the issues dealt with regarding your husband and you not always being on the same page on how the project was to be completed, and this caused a delay. Ultimately, I do not feel your review is fair, and I can not understand why you would want to cause our business hardship. Also, several messages have been left for your neighbor with no return contact. We have had the replacement piece for his garage for weeks.-Respectfully *****
