Complaint I had my windshield replaced and they put tape on my car that removed the clear coat. The owner refused to call me back and was told they wouldn't fix I had my windshield replaced and they put packing tape on my car that pulled the clear coat off. Called and the tech., said it was due to paint failure that he told me about when I had it installed. Why didn't he use different tape if he knew that would be an issue. Offlce girl told me the car was too old and they would not fix it. The tech told me he could go buy a can of clear coat and spray it on. (not a professional painter). Left several messages for the owner and he refused to call me back.
Desired Settlement I feel they should have a professional fix it, or give me the money to have a professional fix it.
Complaint I had a windshield replaced by the company, they had to come back and repair once before. Now there is a STRESS crack and they won't cover it. I had Visions Auto Glass replace a windshield in my car, upon arriving the tech had the wrong windshield. I was then notified (after windshield was out) that he would have to go back to Byron Center and get the right one, but the cost was almost 3 times as much- no option but to buy since he took out the old windshield. A shirt time later I noticed that the windshield was leaking and they came out to the car again and pulled the windshield out and had to re-seal it. Now the issue I am having with the windshield is it has a stress crack in the lower right hand corner- verified by two other companies as stress cracks. When the tech **** from Vision Auto Glass called me he said this was not a stress crack and i would have to pay for another windshield, he also told my fiance' ***** that "any idiot can see that there was an impact". The tech was rude and unprofessional. ***** then called the owner of Visions (**** ******) and he also was very rude when she informed him of how the tech had spoke to her. His reaction was "what do you want me to say?"
Desired Settlement I would like a refund of the windshield so I can have a professional company with techs that are courteous and have some work ethics so I no longer have an issue with this.
