We met Montell at the ** builders conference and had them out for a quote on our windows, siding, roofing and dormers project. They told us they did it all at the fair so we invited them out. At the meeting, they noted they don't do dormers (lie 1) but offered a decent product and price and with the pressure from their sales person, we agreed to have them do our windows, siding, and roof. Just after my husband called to request black windows on the interior as well in which they gave a quote, my husband agreed to the price and waited for an addendum. None came so we reached out and the sales rep confirmed he ordered black interiors, three more times. When we asked the owner for an addendum, he said they do not offer black interiors (lie 2). The owner came to our house and called us liars until we showed him the texts we had already sent his brother, he changed his tune and gave us a discount and given we were late in the process, continued with them. The windows were supposed to be in by the end of July, they didn't go in until October. In that time we decided we weren't doing the roof and didn't need two windows, but being custom ordered we had to buy them still but not pay installation, which we agreed. When the windows came, they were black exteriors with a bunch of visible white trim on the outside and in the seals. No black window I have seen is like that. They came out, said that's how our windows are and we have to deal with it (lie 3) other than the strips which they would paint in the spring. The window company came out to paint the strips and agreed the strips and other trim pieces were wrong and they would replace them all instead of painting, which they did. The first storm after replacing (about two weeks later) the trim and strips, we woke up to a puddle in our living room. When calling them, they said it was a staged event and they were suing us for non-payment, which they were supposed to draw from the line of credit but didn't.
