Advantages of BBB Accreditation

Our Vision: An ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. Our Mission: To be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.

BBB helps people find and recommend businesses, brands, and charities they can trust.

Accreditation Invitation* - Accreditation into Better Business Bureau is by invitation. We do not accept all companies. This enables BBB to maintain its high standards. Better Business Bureau reports on Accredited and Non-Accredited Businesses. Accreditation by BBB is voluntary. Businesses that earn BBB Accreditation contractually agree and adhere to the organization’s high standards of ethical business behavior and must meet and maintain  BBB Code of Business Practices and BBB Accreditation Standards.

BBB Branded Marketing Opportunities* – Once accredited, you will be provided with a BBB Accredited Business Plaque, Certificate of Accreditation, Decals and Magnet, which displays the highly recognized BBB torch seal, that can be used in your place of business, at trade shows and/or on business owned vehicles.

BBB Accredited Business Seal* The highly recognized Better Business Bureau torch seal gives your customers the assurance that they are doing business with a company that is properly licensed, abides by honest and ethical advertising, and is free from an unusual volume or pattern of complaints or legal actions involving its business practices.

  • It also shows your company’s commitment to the BBB’s Principles of Trust: Build Trust, Advertise Honestly, Tell the Truth, Be Transparent, Honor Promises, Be Responsive, Safeguard Privacy, and Embody Integrity.

  • You may advertise your BBB Accredited Business Seal in print advertising such as: newspapers, periodicals, billboards, posters, direct mail, flyers, sales contracts, stationary, business cards, invoices, facsimile cover sheets, yellow page or other directories and other business documents. It can also be used in all OFF-LINE (non-internet) electronic media such as television, telephone and radio ads.

Online Dynamic Seal Accreditation* - For companies with website(s), also inquire about our additional Online Dynamic Seal Accreditation Program that allows you to display a Dynamic “Click to Review” BBB Accredited Business Seal on your website(s), which can help improve your websites search engine results and allow potential customers to instantly verify your BBB Accreditation

Alternative Dispute Resolution* - We offer mediation and arbitration services to our Accredited Businesses so that if you ever have a complaint filed against your company, we can act as an impartial third party to help resolve it. This helps to keep you out of the court system and helps keep government regulation to a minimum.
