Complaint
Put our name on the Florida plate and ran two toll lights with the car we bought from them. Now I received a notice of payment for $4.25.
I bought a Toyota Solara car from Cyber car company. They drove it through the Florida turnpike toll twice without paying. Check with Florida Department of Transportation Invoice ID INVXXXXXXXXX, Account ID XXXXXXXX. This is not good business practice.

Desired Settlement
Shameful business practice that needs to stop. Not paying a toll fee and having the invoice sent to me to pay for them running a toll light. If I do not pay this notice is going to collections and then my credit is tarnished. What kind of business practice is this???? I want them reprimanded.

Complaint
They assured me that the car was completely checked out by them and a authorized GM dealer before offering the car for sale, and any repair needed was completed. I bought the car on internet taking their word for car having " minimal signs of wear" 45K miles. I paid $950.00 to truck freight the delivery to me. I was shocked when the car was delivered. I called them and told them about things that were wrong with car, the salesman told me he would have to get permission for me to get it repaired. The call never came, they just kept putting me off and telling me to get prices and they would get back to me. I could not wait forever so I started the process of trying to get the car fixed the cheapest way possible, getting used parts when possible. Here is to name a few things the car had, the wrong jack, it leaked oil from valve covers, oil sending unit, body trim paint was baked off trim, moon roof leak, visors were literally crumbling because heat baked the material, it was then found to have a cracked head gasket, this is when I sold the car. I lost $5,000.00 on the car and only drove it to different repair shops to get fixed. After over 5 calls I stopped talking to them on phone, they just kept saying they would talk to owner and get back to me. I wrote them a letter and enclosed some of the receipts. I now waited over 2 weeks without any written response. This is all due to their promise that the one owner car was well maintained and had minimal signs of wear.

Business Response
Per our conversation today you will find the inspection report
We received from the local GM dealer that we did when we purchased
The car, we did the oil change and filter and replaced the compressor
Because the air condition did not blow cold air. We were not aware
Of all the items that the customer indicates that were wrong. As you
Can see in the attachment we give a 50/50 limited warranty on our cars
But we do want our customers to be happy. We are sorry that our sales
Man did not follow up to address the customers issues and of course any
Inconvenience the our customer had with the car he bought. We would like
The customer to be satisfied whether we are right or wrong. as long as it
Fair and reasonable.
Thank you.

Final Consumer Response
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Yes, As long as the Dealer sends me the $3,000.00 ,the amount is less than the over $5000.00 I lost on this pile of junk. The title took 10 days to get to me after the car got to me.
This time please send the check overnight mail.
I wired transferred the dealer the money when I bought this pile of junk, I expect the same courtesy.
I will accept this once they agree.

Final Business Response
This is an unreasonable demand. The car was sold with a limited warranty 30 days or 1000 miles
Engine and transmission only 50/50 parts and labor at dealers choice repair shop. This is a used
13 year old used car that we had the dealer checked and found no issues with it. We are sorry
That the customer is un happy but we did nothing wrong morally, ethically or legally wrong.

Complaint
Hello, I recently purchased an automobile from the Cyber Car Store in Tarpon Springs. I bought the car having a one owner "clean" Car Fax. As it turns out, the car was in a collision evidenced by Bondo in the front. This is known since I recently hit a deer and the damage revealed the previous accident. I was advised of the Bondo from the Collision shop doing the repairs. The Collision Shop( Mucci Collision in Lackawanna will support that the car has Bondo and was in a previous incident. The dealer was persistent that the car was not in an accident or did not have damage. I believe Car Store relied on the report from the dealer (Lexus of Tampa) where the car was serviced prior to my purchase and as I mentioned, Car Fax. True, they credited me $250 for a complaint I had regarding another issue with the car and I agreed to resolve them of future issues. However, the car was in an accident and I feel I was deceived
since they persist that the car was not damaged. I reside outside Buffalo
and flew down to their operation to pick up the automobile(which is a 2004
Lexus ES 330). What can I do since the dealer is wishing to "wash their hands" from the situation? I look forward to your response.

Business' Initial Response
First let me bring out facts. Cyber Car Store enjoys the highest customer reviews and feedback on Google reviews, Yahoo reviews, cars.com, Dealer Rater and a 100% feedback on eBay with 223 transactions as of today. We go out of our way to insure our customers are happy, but some you just cannot. We will not yield to extortion or blackmail. Mr. ****** found the car that he had purchased on one of the many websites that we advertise our cars. We have not owned that car from day one to know everything that happened to it daily. We had acquired it with 75,000 miles. We supplied Mr. ****** with a copy of the Carfax report (copy enclosed) stating car was a one owner Florida car with no accident and no other damage. We had the car serviced and inspected at a local Lexus dealership and were not told of any accidents or any other damage. Mr. ****** flew to the Tampa Airport where we picked him up and had brought him to our dealership, after inspecting the car thoroughly he was very satisfied with the car. He paid us and drove the car back to New York with a stop to visit folks in the Carolinas with no problems whatsoever. A few days later he called and complained that there were some paint imperfections on the car, we immediately offered to give him his money back and unwind the whole deal. He refused. He said he liked the car and wanted to keep it, but if we would give him the compensation of $250 he would be totally satisfied even though it was not part of our warranty (copy enclosed). We agreed to compensate him in the amount of $250. Mr. ****** received the check and wrote a great satisfactory review on cars.com and acknowledged in the e-mail (copy enclosed) that he is totally satisfied. Now he comes up with Bondo issues and makes all kinds of accusations of an accident. Accident is a very big word. What is an accident? Big, small, scratches, bent,??? etc... Many times small cosmetic repairs are repaired using Bondo to repair cosmetic part of a car. All of our inspections, information and data that we have found had no report of an accident to the police or insurance company. We feel that we have lived up to this deal with Mr. ****** fairly, legally, and ethically through all of this transaction and we owe him nothing.

Consumer's Final Response
This response was taken verbally by BBB:

I have a piece of the bumper and it is clear that is was repaired with bondo. I do agree that I accepted the $250 from them for a different issue but they were insistent that the vehicle was not in an accident. I have learned that Carfax reports are not reliable. The reason I put a complaint in is because the company was insisting that the car had not been in accident and it clearly has.
