Complaint Category: Repairs resulted in additional damage

Complaint: After a free oil change, as compensation for misdiagnosing my initial problem on my Visit#1, there was a coolant leak and major oil leak.
They (Firestone) offered me a free oil change as compensation for misdiagnosing my initial problem on my Visit#1 Feb 27th. Visit #2 March 30, 2013 was the free oil change. I didn't drive the next two days. Then discovered on the ground under the car a mixture of coolant and oil, mostly oil. Firestone gave me a printout quote for the coolant leak when I went back, but they never mentioned ANYTHING about oil leak. I drove to another place where I was informed that the entire oil pan and gasket and plug needed to be replaced since it had been stripped. I was not able to speak to Firestone's manager as he was out or gone whenever I called and when he called me back (twice) I wasn't home either. The costs involved in fixing both leaks are very high $800!
I feel that Firestone is responsible for one or both. I certainly did not have a coolant leak prior to the first visit, which was when I had been towed to them and they couldn't find the problem so they 'reset the engine light' which did nothing.
