              Purchased .50 ctw in/out hoops 14kw item # ********* on 2/19/23 sales receipt # K15-15100323. At that time was not told that I couldnt be refunded nor was I given a copy of that. Also was not given any Diamond specifics which doesnt amount to much since Diamonds on earring are pieces and very small. With naked eye you wouldnt be able to know what color, cut, carat the diamonds were, furthermore told sales people wasnt concerned about that since diamonds are so small anyways.So a few days later I decided I wanted a diamond necklace and idc in Naples was closed so I went to ******* Diamonds in Naples and purchased a necklace. While there I asked to see in/out hoop earrings and their price was $959.20 vs $1631.75 at idc. Earrings were same carat and 14kw gold and no noticeable difference with naked eye. So naturally Im like I spent about $700 more than I needed to. Went back to store and went through above scenario I was told no refund, but could get store credit. Not interested in store credit when it appears to me everything is overpriced. Told them I would never buy from them again and would tell people I know of their policies. Didnt seem to matter to them that they had lost possible future purchases. What a way to run a business, not very upfront or customer oriented. Also what company of their size doesnt have a corporate email where people can address issues. etc Not happy with this entire situation, lack of upfront communication!Respectfully ************************* ************ ************************* Respect

              On 07/06/2021 I purchased $5,000 worth of silver/gold coins. I returned on 07/08/2021 and bought an additional $1,000 worth of silver coins. To my surprise; when I got home and opened my bag.....The Salesman Ed had in error given me an additional 20 oz of silver coins worth $625.00. I immediately notified Ed of his error. Ed was very nonchalant and stated when we were in the area to just drop them off. Ed said he would make a note of it. There was no Thank You. He acted like it was no big deal. 72 hours past and we heard nothing from IDC so we called back and spoke with Chad. Chad advised us the reason we did not hear back from Ed is Ed had gone on vacation. We reminded Chad of the erroneous transaction and that we don't get to Clearwater often to drop off the 20 oz of silver. We asked Chad, since it was their mistake and we were honest enough to bring it to their attention.......I would consider buying the silver at spot price. Chad said NO....he couldn't do that. Really....I didn't even have to contact them of their error. They didn't know we even had the extra silver coins that we did not purchase. Instead of Chad being thankful for our honesty....he instead said he would take 50 cents off the price of each coin. It's not the money .....it's the principal. This is how they repay honesty and respect. I did purchase the extra 20 oz coins at the 50 cent per coin savings......but was left with a bad taste in my mouth. I asked for a receipt from Chad......which I received.......and still no Thank You! We have a clear conscious because we did the right thing......can't say that about IDC Again, we could have kept the 20 oz of silver....they would never have known........it would have been a lose of $625.00 on their records.......but they refused to sell the coins to me for spot price.. Very disappointed. I will not be doing business with them anymore.

              I spoke with Mr. ********** in regards to this issue this morning. I thanked him for his honesty and apologized for how my staff handled the situation and offered him a special credit on his next purchase which he accepted and stated that he considers this matter closed. He did inform me that he had filed a complaint with BBB. I hope that this fully resolves Mr. ************* grievance with IDC.

              07/27/21 In response to your Business Comment: Please note, I just left the review ....I did not file a compliant with the BBB. I consider this matter closed. I will return to IDC to redeem my credit in the very near future. Mr. Klosterman
