Replaced parts that did not need to be replaced.
On Monday Nov,2, 2015 I brought my 2012 Fiat 500 to Parks Fiat because my clutch would not disengage. The service tech pushed the clutch pedal and determined it was the pressure plate. I talked to Brent (service manager) at 9:00 a.m. on Nov, 3rd and he stated that it was definitely the pressure plate. He said the clutch is not a warranty item, as did Fiat themselves. He quoted me over the phone $890.00 to replace the pressure plate. I took out a loan to pay for it and told him to go ahead. When I Picked up my car on Nov 4, they had replaced my clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, and also my flywheel. I told Brent that I wanted all my old parts, so he had them in a box for me. I had a parts salesman from Autozone look at them. The flywheel still looks brand new. The Clutch has very little wear, the pressure plate has a bit of wear, and the throw-out bearing is worn out.At 9:00 am Break I called and spoke with Brent about the flywheel and told him that even if he had to change the flywheel it was a warranty item. He charged me $260.00 for the flywheel. Fiat warrants clutch for 12,000 miles only. The flywheel is not a wear item, and therefore should be covered.....BUT Mine was not even in need of replacing.A I told Brent to punch in his computer just the flywheel......He did and said it was covered and that he would refund me for the flywheel. At 11:30am I called the Fiat XXX-XXX-XXXX and spoke with a customer service rep. and told them what had taken place with Brent and the flywheel. The rep said he would speak to Brent and get back with me. At 2:30 p.m. I got out of work and called Brent. I asked him if I needed to drive back down there to get my refund. He stated that I am not getting a refund at all now. He said it is standard practice to change a flywheel when replacing a clutch. I was also told that now that the flywheel was damaged by the clutch that it is not warranted. I feel Robbed. I called the Fiat XXX-XXX-XXXX number again, this time I was on the phone for over 30 minutes, She asked me to hold and she was going to get Brent on the line. Brent never came on the phone. The lady stated the same thing that Brent said. I pulled into Crystal Chrysler in Homosassa and had a mechanic and service rep look at my flywheel while on the phone with the lady. I asked them if it is standard practice to change a flywheel when changing a clutch...They both said NO. I asked them if they saw anything wrong with the flywheel...They again said NO. I feel i should be refunded for the flywheel, bolts and screws. None of those are designed to wear out and therefore should be covered by warranty. I will take these parts to anyone else to be inspected if necessary.

I just want a refund for unnecessary work being done on my car.

As per Fiat, servicing guidelines the flywheel is not machinable. Anytime a clutch is replaced for wear the flywheel should be replaced. The inspection Mr. **** had performed may have shown no problems with the flywheel through a visual inspection but that is not a test for replacement., it is replaced regardless. Brent quoted the clutch replacement correctly as a total including all parts and labor as per all estimates that are given by Parks Fiat. The Flywheel is only covered by factory warranty for defect from the manufacturer, which is does not.
