**** the owner will not release our furniture unless we pay him 250.00. Which was never in the contract and and never told to us verbally.
On march 5 2011 Paul hauls moving company moved some of my husbands items from his apartment to the house I was renting. The leftovers items were then kept at his local storage unit. After paying 100 a month for 2 years and 3. Months we called to have our new movers pick up the furniture. **** the owner would not release it unless we paid 250.00. This was never in the contract or told to us. We had no other choice but to pay the money to get our stuff. This is wrong and pail the owner is unprofessional and tries to scam people.

Desired Settlement
I want 250.00 back.

This complaint is basically a misunderstanding. Moving fees for storage are customary when our crew is used to move the belongings. This was either not communicated properly or misunderstood by the client. We resolved the complaint by moving their belongings out of our facilities using our crew at an agreed-upon fair price. In the last ten years we have moved thousands of happy customers and deal with all our clients fairly and honestly. We regret any misunderstanding that we may have had, and we always strive to come to a positive mutually beneficial resolution.

**** is not being truthful with the entire situation. My husband called him to get our furniture out of his storage unit and he refused to let us come get it. He said that we had to pay him 250.00 to release it (to have other movers get it) or we had to **** his guys to deliver it. Either way he was getting 250.00. This was never disclosed or in the contract. My husband finally got **** to agree that we could come pick up our stuff and still pay 250.00. Then when I filed the BBB complaint **** then told us that we were not playing nice and that we were not allowed to come get it. He said he would hold it for another 2 weeks or sell it since we complained about him. **** hung up on my husband several times. Then **** text ed my husband back and said the only way to get our stuff was that he would deliver for 250.00 but only drop it off in our garage. The furniture was dropped off but they refused to take it in. We had to pay another moving company to take it inside our new home. **** was very unprofessional.
