Business Response
I received a call from you today that NSH Mortgage called XXX-XXX-XXXX or XXX-XXX-XXXX and that Mr. ****** complained that we called his unlisted number. The fact that the number is unlisted does not provide him protection via the law for a solicitor to legally call him as long as he has not registered his phone number with the Do Not Call Registry. His numbers were never registered with the DNC, I also did another search with the DNC after we spoke and Mr. ****** is still not registered with the DNC. (please see attached). NSH Mortgage was prudent in scrubbing his number XXX-XXX-XXXX with the DNC Registry and called during hours we are legally allowed to call. We never called the XXX-XXX-XXXX number as we don't have this number in our system.

I am providing you screen shots illustrating our calls made to Mr. ****** (please see attached). My Solicitor ************** never indicated that Mr. ****** had requested her to place him on our DNC, I can assure you if he did, ******* would have done that immediately. Also I am providing you a screen shot of me placing him on our own DNC list (please see attached). He will never receive another call from NSH Mortgage.

I firmly believe that NSH Mortgage was within our legal rights to solicit Mr. ****** as we followed the law. I also believe that Mr. ****** should call or log in and register both of his phone numbers with the DNC, this was the solution to his problem. I think he is confused on how to resolve his issue and penalizing NSH Mortgage is not the solution.

I also firmly believe that NSH Mortgage should not receive a complaint against its record as Mr. ****** was not registered with the DNC nor did he ever ask us not to call him. Being that you have relayed the message we are happy to facilitate this request.

Complaint Resolution: Company resolved the complaint issues. The consumer acknowledged acceptance to BBB.
