Purchased a washer and dryer set on Dec 10, 2021. Items delivered on Friday, Dec 17, 2021 at 3:00pm. Techs installed and left. I started a load of clothes and the machine ran for almost two full hours. Called back to American Appliance at 4:59 pm after noticing and advised the delivery guys had just left about 3:30 pm immediately following delivery & installation. Gentlemen took my name, address and phone number and said he would call me right back. No call back. Called back to the number the delivery guys called from no answer. Noticed that this business is closed on Saturdays, when customers need them the most! Machine has been locked every since 12/17, full of water, unable to open or disengage to remove the water or clothes from machine. Dryer smells extremely HOT as well after turning it on. Called back on Monday, 12/20/21 several times and the phone rings & rings then goes to a voicemail looping you back to the front desk & rings & rings again. Finally, someone named Tiffany picked up w/much haste in voice as to if the customers are annoying to her. Explained I was awaiting a call back from Friday 12/17/21 about the delivery that never worked. She rushed to tell me someone would call me on 12/21 between 8-830 am to let me know what time they would be out to see what the issue was. The call never came between 8-830 am, I called them at 8:53 am to advise I hadn't heard from them about the scheduled time they would be coming out 12/21/21 as I need to know to have someone present to look to see what the issue was. She hurriedly gave me a 3-5pm window on 12/21/21. As of today, my issues have not yet been resolved, washer still has stinky water in it and I will not move forward with defective appliances from time of delivery as my money can be used on new equipment at this point. I am requesting a FULL refund as per their 30 day return policy. This has been a very shiesty experience to say the least!!! This company is not reliable anymore.
