In January 2021, we bought a condo on Marco Island and hired Mayor Construction for a total remodel. We moved a wall as well as a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms remodel. We had a few issues along the way but the major issue is they haven't finished the job. They almost finished last September when my husband and I went to look at it and made our list of things that needed to be fixed or changed. They asked us to make this list and the general contractor, May, came over and we went over our list. She said they would come back in November when we returned to finish up. Since then, we have called, texted and emailed and she doesn't respond back. We were back in March and actually sat at their office in Naples until the owner, Rudolpho showed up and told him our situation. We agree on a time that he would come over to look at our condo. He didn't show up on the agreed day but after a few days of calling and texting, he did show up and said they would be back in two weeks to complete the job. That was supposed to be the last week in March and they don't respond again. It's beyond frustrating as we own a business in WI and would never not get back to customers- we'd be out of business. The main issue is the master shower. They replaces the shower pan as well as all tile and plumbing. The floor puddles In many spots causing the stone to change color but more importantly, the shower door is not right and leaks all over the floor. Being in a condo, we are concerned it might leak to the floor under us as well as ruin our new floor they installed. We have also contacted city hall on Marco but they haven't been much help. I've filed complaints on this site ( which I don't see ) as well as other sites, like Angi's list and yelp hoping others won't be taken advantage of like we have. If they don't finish, we will have to contract with someone else, and pay even more, to get this taken care of so can actually use our new shower. Please let me know if you need more Thanks
