    We bought an air conditioning system in July 2021 for approx. $15,000.00. Since that time the unit makes strange noises, which are very annoying and wake up visitors who sleep in our rear bedroom. Progressive Air System has been here many times and are unable to determine or fix the noise. We have a 10 year parts and service warranty, and would like some resolution. The Service Manager, **, has constantly refused to return my calls and is never available to take the calls. Our most recent service person told ** that the manufacturer, Carrier, has a regional technician available, but to my knowledge Progressive has not contacted them. We would like some resolution

    My husband and I moved to our community in 2019. Since then we had to call to get our AC repaired 4 times within the last 3yrs. The unit was placed in 2018 which means its fairly new. Now our AC doesn't work and we were told it is the AC coil that needs to be replaced. The AC coil is within the warranty which we were reminded that it'll end next year but we have to pay for labor which is over $800. The repair man placed some cooling which we were told it'll last. Guess what it didn't our house is currently an oven. Now the company calls us to let us know the coil will not be in for another 2 to 3 weeks and because the AC is not working properly we were told to shut the unit before another part gets damage. So now my family has to suffer in this heat until the coil comes in. If we want the repair man to return and put in more cooling we will be charge $91 every time. When I complained about how is this possible given the fact that this is a fairly new unit their reply was they put what the builders tells them, however, if this company is so good then any equipment they place in any home should live up to their standards. Not everyone can pay top of the line products. This company is ridiculous I'm so disappointed on their customer service and their products. Find a better company when it comes to AC. Trust me if we had the money we would gut this one and have a different company place a new AC. Now we wait in the Florida heat until we get the part. I have children and two dogs living in this heat. The company doesn't compensate or find a temporary solution everything is about money. I wonder if I call the City to let them know what's going on what will happen.

    Mrs. ******* we apologize for this inconvenience. It is awful that you are without AC and we are doing the best we can to get your coil expedited. We recommend you reach out to the manufacturer's customer service line to see if you can get the coil faster. Unfortunately, this is the age we live in where parts are not always available. We attempted to give you cooling by putting refrigerant in, however we cannot continue to add refrigerant that will just leak out into the environment. We will continue to be persistent on getting this part for you, however the number for the manufacture is X-XXX-XXX-XXXX


    In addition, we have reviewed your account history and did not see that we were out 4 times for service. We do have a record of helping you with a locked-out Thermostat, replacement thermostat and a drain line. We do not show a record of any routine maintenance completed on your system and highly recommend you have this completed annually. Parts do fail from time to time and we do not manufacture them. We apologize for any inconvenience and strive to do the best we can. Hopefully the manufacturer will expedite the part so we can install it immediately. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
