Complaint Services my AC - unplugged electric to my water pump to house causing $350 in repair to unit. Refused to reimburse even though he admitted doing it. Have been using this company for years to service both my home and business. ****** came to my house to service my AC. He went outside to vacuum out the unit and unplugged the electric to my float switch valve which caused the pump for my well water to the house to run dry. ****** admitted to unplugging it via text: "Oh **** I did. I didn't mean too I only need to use vac for a few mins". I informed him of the expense regarding the repair ($350 - send him copy of bill) and he refused to reimbursement for the damages. Said it was too expensive, he didn't have that kind of money...
He admitted to breaking it, but won't pay for the damages. I sent him a demand letter, with no response.
He also left his shop vac and extension cord at my house. I tried several times to return it to him, without success.
Desired Settlement I had to pay $350.00 to have ********* **** ******** a company I have been using for 8 years to service my well water pump, to fix what was damaged. I would like Gulfside AC & Heating to reimburse me for the $350.00 repair cost.
Business Response Contact Name and Title: ****** ***** Contact Phone: XXX XXXXXXX Contact Email: *************@gmail.com It was never my intension to cause damage to my customer's well pump. I believe the bill the customer received to have the pump fixed was a bit much. There was no intension of not reimbursing the customer as was never advised to the customer I did not have that kind of money. I will provide the customer with a reimbursement check in the amount of $350.00. In return would like to pick up my shop vac and extension cord.

Complaint We were charged for a magnetic contactor to be replaced. A few hours later it stopped working and we had somone else look and it was not new. Our A/C was not blowing cold so we called Gulfside A/C & Heating. The guy came right out and was very nice. He stated that the magnetic contactor needed replaced. We said ok and he fixed it. The air was nice and cold for a few hours. Nest thing we knew we woke up to a hot house. We had alreday scheduled an appt with another company to come out for the morning before we got Gulfside to come out and we had not cancled it so we luckly waited for them to arrive. The pulled out the contactor that we had up on the roof and it was old and corroded. This is what we paid $230 for the night before. There was no way it was replaced. We were then charged again for this peice by another company to be fixed. We feel as though we were taken advantage of and that this piece was never replaced. We have this one now that we got a new one and can provide it to be seen that there is no way it is a new magnetic conductor. We gave Gulfside a check for payment last night and we cancelled the check today costing and additional $30. I feel as though this should be refunded to us as well. The replaced magnetic Contactor is a Packard C230, Poles 2, Coil Voltage 24, Hertz 50/60, Amp Rating 30 FLA 40 RES, Cross Reference ********** This is off of the box of the 2nd one we recevied from the other company. We do have the old product It has numbers on it but Im not sure what numbers are useful. XXXX-XX************** are on the old not working (suposedly new) contactor.
Desired Settlement I would like our check cancellation fee refunded
