            Heat pump broke down, call for service on 02/12//2022 (first call). Because of scheduling issues technician showed up o 02/22/2022. diagnostic: costly repair on a literally bran new unit. Believe system was defective from initial installation. Since then, bouncing between the manufacturer "*******", the mentioned contractor FJ HESS & SON and supplier which they refused to provide a name. Last communication with FJ HESS & SON thru E-mail date on 02/11/2022. I was told that they have reached out to the supplier, and they did not have an answer yet. The representative from the company was going to contact the supplier again. Up to today nobody has provided me with a solution to that issue.

            I have hired FJ Hess four times in the past five years. In January 2022, my furnace would not start automatically, so I had Johnny come up and replace nozzles and filters. Overnight, the furnace did not kick on and the house cooled down to 37°F. Sal gave me a hard time and demanded the weekend service call rate for Tyler to come up and see what Johnny missed. Tyler fiddled around and declared the problem solved. I turned off the water and drained the pipes anyway. A few days later, it got very cold and three pipes burst because the furnace failed to kick on again. Luckily, the damage was minor. Tyler came back to evaluate the damage and I never heard from FJ Hess again. Lawsuit pending.
